Bernadette Marquez is a native New Mexican raised in Santa Fe. She shares her life with her husband and award-winning Santero artist, Arthur López and their two sons. She works in Precious Metals with a focus on Sterling Silver Jewelry. She incorporates her husband’s hand painted and/or hand carved images in her work which transform them into wearable art. Born and rained in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Arthur López is proud to be working in the long tradition of New Mexico Santero artists. His high attention to detail has garnered him many awards and is highly esteemed as one of New Mexico’s most popular Santero wood sculptors.
